I lead a very active life thanks to the five male children ( 1 grand child) in my life. The tales are never ending and often I feel as if I am going to spontaneously ignite into a ball of flames ... not from anger, frustration, or other negative feelings ... but because the level of activity just does not seem to be sustainable.
I used to think that they do this to me for sport but I now realize that their lives are lived on the edge and I have become much too Hobbit-like. So like Bilbo Baggins I leave the Shire and step into the world of the unknown ... quests, dragons, trolls, goblins and all.
This blog will attempt to capture some of the more salient stories that illustrate why I chose it's title. Hope you enjoy
